Burlesque Presentations by Bella Sin
As an educator, Bella Sin's area of focus is Burlesque History, with a particular emphasis on the legends of color in the burlesque industry. They have conducted extensive research on the history of burlesque in their city and beyond, including the world of burlesque outside of the United States. Bella's presentations on this topic have been well-received by colleagues and researchers internationally.
Sin offers a diverse range of educational talks, including "Latin Burlesque Pioneers," "Decolonizing Burlesque," and "The History of Burlesque in Cleveland, Ohio." Their primary focus is to provide education and resources to the community, encouraging them to become their own historical researchers and keep the legends of burlesque alive through stories of their performances. Sin is fluent in both English and Spanish and offers educational content on their YouTube channel.Presentations available on demand and virtually in real time. Real time virtual presentations will also be listed in the class list below.
